These Terms govern your use of MagicPage ("we", "us", "our"), available at magicpage.ai. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. MagicPage is intended for adults (18+) creating stories for children in their care.

1. Who May Use MagicPage

MagicPage is a service for adults aged 18 and over. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The service is designed for parents, carers, and other adults who create personalised illustrated stories for children in their care.

Children do not register for MagicPage and do not have accounts. Adults enter character names, personality descriptions, and story prompts on behalf of the children they care for. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

2. Your Account

You sign in using your Google account. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Google. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for all activity that happens under your MagicPage account.

You may have one MagicPage account per Google identity. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, please contact us immediately.

3. Acceptable Use

MagicPage is built for creating age-appropriate stories for young children. You agree to use it only for that purpose and not to:

Enter prompts or character descriptions that are violent, sexual, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate for children.
Attempt to circumvent our automated content safety checks.
Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm others.
Share, sell, or sublicense access to your account.
Attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with MagicPage's systems.

Every story and illustration generated by MagicPage passes an automated content safety check before it reaches you. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. The Service

MagicPage uses AI to generate personalised illustrated stories based on prompts and character descriptions you provide. Story text and illustrations are generated fresh each time — results may vary.

We offer a free tier that lets you create a limited number of stories at no cost. Paid subscription plans with higher story limits are also available. Billing is handled by Stripe; current pricing is shown on the homepage.

We do our best to keep MagicPage available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time, and we will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes.

5. Your Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the character names, descriptions, and prompts you enter into MagicPage. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process that input to generate the story and illustrations you requested.

The AI-generated story text and illustrations are created for your personal, non-commercial use. You may save and share them for personal purposes (such as reading with your child or printing for home use), but you may not resell or commercially exploit generated content.

MagicPage and its underlying technology, design, and brand remain the property of MagicPage. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of our intellectual property to you.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

MagicPage is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We cannot guarantee that every generated story will meet your expectations or that the service will be error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, MagicPage's liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of MagicPage after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence give you additional rights.
